This is a lovely vintage solid bronze St. Christopher medal. Nice detailed depiction of St. Christopher carrying his precious burden. Brand new vintage medal that sat in a vault at a fine jewelry manufacturer for around 50 years, I am told. They discovered the vault when the factory closed after more than a hundred years in business. See grid for size. St. Christopher has fallen out of favor, but he is one my favorites. Christopher means Christ bearer. Even if he was mythical, he reminds us that we, as Christians, carry Christ in our hearts with us everywhere we go. We should all be Christ Bearers!
